Edith Appezzato, 97, passed away August 29, 2019 in her apartment in Millbrook, NY. Born in Cranford, NJ Edith lived there most of her life.

Edith was a lifelong member of St. Michael’s Church in Cranford. “Aunt Edie”, as we all know her, always put family first. She took care of her parents, brother and sister when ill. Aunt Edie’s favorite summer past time was baseball. Watching her beloved Yankees with a passion! She stayed up past 11p only if the Yankee game had extra innings. Aunt Edie loved plants and gardening which continued when she moved to Millbrook. At home in Millbrook, three Italian ladies met and became close friends. Pam from Yonkers, Helen from Brooklyn and Edie from Cranford earned the nickname of “The Three Musketeers”. Of course, they complained about the food. Aunt Edie will be missed by family and friends who loved her.
She was predeceased by her parents Raffaele Appezzato, Elizabeth Appezzato. Brothers Nicole Appezzato and Felix Appezzato. Sister & brother-in-law Claire & George Goetz. Nephew George Goetz. All from Cranford. Brother-in-law Richard Patrick Foley Peoria AZ.
Suviving are her sister Josephine Foley Peoria AZ. Nieces Deborah E. Wright Poughquag New York, Kitty Stopher Sun City and Joann Haddock Peoria AZ. Great Nephews Nick Cipiti AZ, Jonathan B. Wright Seattle WA. Great Nieces Debbie Jones Kingswood, TX and Renee Cox Edina, MN.
